Model 11r is a special version of the 11el (later 11si) for the
document storage system.
It takes images in the 11.5 x 16.5 mm format which makes for
about 130 pictures on a 135-36 film.
Differentiating points :
- The lens mounting bayonet is ~1 cm thick, the camera was at
the correct distance from the document when the Macro-Switar
1.9/50mm standard lens was at set at infinity.
- Special ground glass
- 90° angle viewer made by Minolta
- the exposure meter was fed by an external 6V transformer that
was plugged into the modified M flash socket (indicated by a red
dot). There was no internal battery.
Serial numbers go from 60601 to 60698. Some of these bodies were
later factory-retrofitted for the normal 24x36 format.
